Goa is ranked by the Eleventh Finance Commission as the Best Placed State in the Country in terms of infrastructure facilities.

The National Commission on Population has ranked Goa as First amongst all states in terms of 12 indicators on Quality of life.

CRISIL have declared Goa as the second most fastest growing State in the country.
