At
the end of 1 year training, the trainees shall be able to set machine
control parameters, set moulds & dies, operate machine skillfully
on compression moulding machine, injection moulding, blow moulding machine,
extruder for pipe, cast film & blown film. Fabricate fibre reinforced
plastic products such as laminates, boat hulls, car bodies tanks, surf
boards etc. Dip casting, thermoforming, rotomoulding, powder coating,
and plastic welding. Conduct test skillfully on plastic such as MFI tensile,
hardness, impact, compression, flexiurul etc. Identification of plastic.
Mould design aspects. Preventive maintenance of hydraulic circuit, control
circuit.
